Good evening, or afternoon back home. Hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's Eve! The flight into Amsterdam was uneventful and Tim (my travel buddy) and I got to spend the day walking around the city. It seems pretty strange because I can still be so connected to people - uploading pictures (albeit slowly), even texting - it doesn't feel like I am on the other side of the world, yet. So far travels have been smooth, let's pray it stays that way.
